Inspect supported BitTorrent v1 metadata without starting a download. The viewer displays file names, sizes, piece length and tracker fields as text.
How to use Torrent Metadata Viewer
- Select a .torrent file up to 1 MiB.
- Choose View metadata.
- Review the file list and size information.
A useful example
A torrent may describe one file or a directory containing several files. The total size is the sum of the described file lengths.
Limits and assumptions
Supports BitTorrent v1 metadata. V2 and hybrid files are rejected. Tracker fields are not contacted. The viewer does not verify the availability, ownership or safety of the described content. Long lists show the first 100 entries.
